What is eVisa to Rwanda

The Rwanda eVisa is an online visa that the Rwandan Government introduced in 2018. The visa is issued to citizens of all countries around the globe who wish to travel to Rwanda and enter the country by air through the international airports in Kigali or all Rwandan border entry points.

The introduction of the eVisa system in Rwanda was supposed to facilitate the entire process of getting a visa as it entirely eliminated the need to visit the embassy or consulate.
Travelers can choose between four types of electronic visas available which all cover tourism and business-related purposes and can be issued either as single-entry or multiple-entry permits.
To obtain the Rwanda eVisa delivered straight to your email inbox, you will need to fill out the online application form, upload supporting documents if necessary, and cover the processing fee. The fee may vary depending on the selected visa type as well as your nationality.
Do remember to submit your eVisa application at least 3 business days prior to the planned trip.
